「東北のみんなで作った、世界で一つだけのアロハシャツ」

日本の伝統衣装である「着物」は、ライフスタイルの変化から国内で約２億着が着られずに眠っていると言われています。

私たちは着られなくなった着物を選別し、宮城県のお母さん達の手で一着ずつ丁寧にほぐして洗い、裁断し、

福島県、岩手県の皆さんの手で一着ずつアロハシャツに仕立て直しています。侍の不屈の精神と、復興に立ち向かう東北の姿を重ね合わせ「サムライアロハ」と名付けました。

Samurai Aloha — one-of-a-kind aloha shirts handmade in Tohoku.

Using unworn kimonos that have been left behind in Japan, mothers in Miyagi carefully take them apart and wash them, while artisans in Fukushima and Iwate craft each piece into a new shirt. The name Samurai Aloha embodies the resilient spirit of Tohoku and the unbreakable soul of the samurai.
